Kin&Co is a communications and culture consultancy that empowers people to create a happier, healthier world. We harness the power of purpose, values and sustainability to make organisations more successful, inside and out.

Our associate model includes a wide network of people with a deep passion and talent for values-driven communications, and a core in-house delivery team active across diverse projects – from business leadership charity Blueprint for Better Business to homelessness campaigners Crisis, multinational tech superstar Tripadvisor to writing charity Ministry of Stories.

We are currently on the lookout for an intern to join our core team in our sunny, fun co-working space in Whitechapel. The role is initially a full-time 3-month placement with a view to potentially becoming part of Kin&Co’s delivery team in the future. We’d like this person to assist in delivering client projects, but also support operations and organisational marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Help create and deliver communications projects, including digital and content, media relations, social media and stakeholder relations
  • Help create and deliver strategic culture change projects and internal communications initiatives
  • Manage the ongoing organisational marketing of the company – including social media, blogs and researching opportunities for raising the profile of the company and the CEO
  • Assist in driving the internal culture of Kin&Co, helping with company initiatives and programmes

In addition to these skills sets, we are looking for an individual who has:

  • A belief in the power of values-driven communications to create a happier, healthier world
  • Excited about working in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors
  • Flexibility, accountability and strong ability to independently manage priorities and take initiative on delivering results
  • Has 6 months – 2 years experience in communications or transferable skillset equivalent and a proven track record of success in a start-up, agency, or similar fast paced, flexible environment
  • A real knack for details and organisation
  • Someone who approaches work with alacrity
