After its acquisition by AstraZeneca, rare disease specialists Alexion International wanted to stand out within their new parent organisation. They challenged themselves to shift from permission-based thinking to a de-siloed, risk-positive, entrepreneurial team. They wanted every employee to adopt an
‘It’s Up To Us’ mindset and way of working.

We partnered with them to help bring this vision to life. Previous programmes had failed to engage market teams, so we spent time working closely with each market team, helping them explore what ‘It’s Up To Us’ could look like in practice for them, how it could improve their experience of work, and explore in what practical ways they could live this mindset. By making desired company mindsets personal, engaging and relevant to employee roles, we helped create a lasting movement across the business that increased innovation.
